…The kids loved exploring the cottage – and the fun starts the minute you open the door with a stone-floored room with it’s big table and beach hut in the corner, complete with bunting – it’s a practical cupboard but it’s fun and sets the tone. Then you step up to a beautifully done kitchen with a gorgeous curved shower room off it. Can you hear the squeal of children who’ve just walked back from the beach, washing off the sand and the sigh of relaxed adults reaching for a glass of wine? There you go….

… the place is furnished so tastefully – a super comfortable couch, beds, scented candles around. We stayed in summer but it felt like a place that would be very cozy in winter too!

We arrived late and Linda has left a really generous welcome pack of food for us as well as extras for our baby. This was so helpful as we were all tired and hungry! The portacot was already set up for our baby and there were lots of additional extras to make our stay easier – bowls for baby food, a changing mat, water cup, etc….

The furnishings are really comfortable and there are plenty of options for sitting together – a sitting room with large corner sofa and an unusual indoor courtyard/dining area as you enter the place (the main picture on the website). We spent quite a lot of time in this area which also has a great space to keep wetsuits/boogie boards and all the paraphernalia one gathers on holiday in Cornwall in the summer – so you can keep the sand in check!
